Boat Trip, Poole Quay

Friday, 30 August 2019 from 18:45-22:15

£571 raised!

UPDATE: Thank you very much to everyone who joined us on the boat trip. Even though we were less on numbers due to people not being able to make the new date after the cancellation, we still had a fab night. A massive thank you to Louise for organising such a brilliant night for the 2nd year in a row and to Rich for banging out the tunes. We raised a great amount of £571, which is just amazing.

As last years boat trip from Poole Quay to Wareham Quay was such a success and everyone had such a great time, we’ve decided to do it again this year.

The boat will leave Poole Quay approx 7.15pm, although this is to be confirmed, where we will sail over to Wareham Quay, on route we will be given our supper of fish and chips / sausage and chips etc, we will then hop off the boat on Wareham Quay for approx an hour, so we can have a drink or two in the local pubs, before getting back on board, to dance our way back to Poole Quay, estimated arrival 10.15pm.

There will be a raffle on the night, the disco tunes will be banging out on the way and on the way back, dancing is a must on the return route, lol.

Adults £20 and Children £15. Children are the responsibility of their parents. This includes the boat trip, supper and disco.  Once payment has been made, no refunds will be given.  Once the boat Company and caterers have been paid all monies will go direct to Tyler’s Friends.

Payment to be made no later than 1 month before please, only 80 spaces available. We know there’s plenty of time until the event but we obviously need to get an idea of the interest.

We’d love to fill the boat up again, so please grab your family and friends and bring them along to what promises to be a fantastic night.

We had a lot of people bail out on us at the last minute last year as they thought it was going to be a choppy crossing due to the weather we’d had, it turned out to be the smoothest crossing ever, so please don’t be put off if you’re a little wobbly on water.  Please email louise@tylersfriends.co.uk

Tyler’s Friends 10 Challenge

Celebrating Tyler

On the 13th June 2019, Tyler should’ve been celebrating his 10th birthday, but sadly he grew his angel wings too soon. Tyler’s Friends would like to honour and celebrate his 10th birthday by setting up a fun challenge. During the month of June we would like you all to set yourself a challenge, but please make it enjoyable, at least that way you’ll want to take part, lol. It may be that you will walk or run 10 miles, give up something for 10 days, eat 10 bars of chocolate, you get the idea. There will be a £10 entry fee and every single penny goes to Tyler’s Friends. There are 70 places going and each participant will receive a hot air balloon medal. (Those doing the 26 mile walk next month will get one of these medals). So please join in, have a little fun, let us have a laugh by telling us what 10 challenge you’ve chosen, and help us remember a beautiful baby boy gone too soon.  Email kirsten@tylersfriends.co.uk

There is a £20 entry fee and for this you will receive a medal and a goodie bag. If you feel 26 miles will be too much, there is also an 11 mile walk on the same trail. We are doing it on a Saturday to give everyone time to recover before they go to work on Monday.
